Driver held after bus incident

Twenty people have been injured, including a teenage girl who remains in a critical condition in hospital, after a bus crashed in a suspected drink-drive incident.

Eighteen people were taken to hospital after a route 198 double-decker crashed in Croydon, at 12:20pm yesterday. It collided with another bus, a car and a bus shelter at West Croydon Bus Station in south London, Scotland Yard believes.

Metropolitan Police officers arrested the driver on suspicion of drink-driving.
