New resource to boost life sciences collaboration
0 Dave Tudor will unveil the Scottish Health Research and Innovation Ecosystem at today’s event
A digital directory to help life sciences companies collaborate with the NHS will be launched today at the annual Life Science Scotland conference in Glasgow.
Dave Tudor, co-chair of the Life Sciences Scotland industry leadership group, will unveil the Scottish Health Research and Innovation Ecosystem, a searchable database of NHS, clinical, academic and trade organisations.
It allows companies to easily find the correct contacts to develop working projects,
aiming to promote collaboration and help advance new approaches to patient care.
Julia Brown, senior director of high-value manufacturing and health at directory sponsors Scottish Enterprise, said: “Collaboration between industry and NHS Scotland is key to the life sciences sector and Scotland achieving its potential.”
She added that the resource will help to develop collaborative working projects “from concept development through to commercialisation”.
