Comms agency Indigo in capital firm merger

Two Edinburgh-based communications agencies have merged in a move designed to provide an “unrivalled” offering to clients.

Indigo, founded by Jacqui Low, and Talking Canvas have announced a creative partnership that will see the latter’s team relocate to Indigo’s base in Leith today.

The combined company will trade as Indigo with MD Elaine Mckean continuing at the helm. Indigo is active across the UK and celebrates its 21st anniversary this year.

Talking Canvas was founded three years ago by Nicki Sturzaker and has a portfolio of food and drink, property and travel clients in Scotland.

Low said: “This opportunity was too good to miss. It will enhance our services across the full range of communications and we know that the Talking Canvas team provides a strong fit in experience and client ethos which matches our own. The merger will take us forward into a new chapter of growth.
