CBRE chief takes on chair of Scottish Property Federation

Mathieson’s appointment commenced at the SPF’S annual dinner at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 8 November. Mathieson said: “My time as vice-chairman has been very productive and I’m looking forward to taking over the reins as the SPF consolidates its position as the voice of Scotland’s real estate sector. The positive relationships that the SPF has, both at a national and local level, is something that the whole industry values and I want to continue that as we go forward on key issues such as business rates.”
● Coulters, the independent property company specialising in residential estate agency and conveyancing, has named Ken Ireland as its new CEO. Ireland has extensive experience in the sector locally and internationally, having trained as a chartered surveyor in Edinburghbeforeholdingmanagement posts in Glasgow, London, Edinburgh and Hong Kong.

Boniface, former managing director of gaming firm Reloaded Productions and vice-president of technology and operations at JP Morgan Chase, will be head of ONE Codebase, the Aberdeen-based partnership between private sector economic development body Opportunity North East (ONE) and tech incubator Codebase.
● Glasgow-based crisis management specialist Raven has appointed Gavin Dutch as non-executive CTO. Dutch previously founded Kotikan, the innovative app development agency which became Scotland’s largest mobile app developer prior to being acquired by Fanduel in 2015.
