St Johnstone What a performance

-

Supporters who gave the game a miss must be kicking themselves. They missed the most entertaining performance for a long time at home. The team spirit and growing confidence shone through, with each goal celebrated by all the outfield players. It was clear from the start the team wanted a win and a clean sheet. Every break or half-chance was broken up or blocked by a player in blue. During the second half, I noticed Tommy Wright joining supporters’ applause when the players worked the ball out of a tight defensive position, keeping possession and starting another attack.

Constantly applauding the quality of play every few minutes kept the hands warm.
