Morton Back down to earth

I guess I deserved Saturday’s result. I spoke too positively about the management team and the squad, so I guess it’s only fair, in typical Morton fashion, that we came crashing back down to earth with a bang. Following back-to-back wins over Queen of the South and Partick Thistle, confidence was high heading into our clash against struggling Alloa Athletic. Perhaps confidence was too high – as a stuttering performance saw Alloa pick up all three points. We could dwell on the controversial penalty decisions that, in the end, won the visitors the game, but we’d be papering over the cracks of a disappointing performance. It further enhances the worry that this team lack consistency. Johansson must address this, and fast.
