Partick Thistle Beaten but best yet
While Saturday provided another defeat, at least the performance was the best under Gary Caldwell. There seemed more urgency and it was good to see players throwing themselves into challenges and putting their bodies on the line. Craig Slater, in particular, epitomised that. Slater has been the biggest positive all aseason, always available for the ball and always looking to drive forward. The centre-halves, Niall Keown and Sean Mcginty, looked a more compact partnership and seem to be on the same wavelength now, which will help over the next few weeks. However, at the other end, we seem to still have a problem scoring goals. That needs to be rectified quickly because, make no bones about it, we are in a relegation fight.
