A win! At last! I’d almost forgotten what it felt like. There was palpable relief from the players at full-time at Firhill, too. Going 24 games without defeat in league games is a great achievement, but the aim is to get promotion and to achieve that means we have to converted draws into wins. Another pleasing aspect, at the moment, is the form of goalkeeper Mark Ridgers. What a difference in his game and confidence to when he arrived last season. From a wonder save in the Highland derby to a double save on Saturday from the penalty, he really is on fire. It’s great to see that being recognised with a place in the SPFL team of the week.
