Falkirk Derby delight
It’s with a spring in my step and an air of smugness that I write this report. It’s not so much the fact that we won the derby comfortably (although, let’s be honest, that is very satisfying) but more the manner in which we won it. Barring a tough opening 20 minutes and the miss of the season by Dunfermline’s Andy Ryan, we were worthy winners. Ray Mckinnon is getting the best out of this squad. He has instilled a belief in them, which is starting to pay off. The team performance was exceptional, including a fine individual display by Paul Paton. And why Tommy Robson hasn’t been featuring all season speaks volumes about Mr Hartley’s management. We have to build on this result with no slips at home to Partick Thistle this weekend.
