Man charged for spate of thefts after public help

A man has been charged over a spate of thefts in Fife.

The 47-year-old was arrested on Tuesday and appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

He is alleged to have been behind stealing a motor vehicle as well as a spate of intended thefts.

Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh of Dunfermline CID said: “I wish to thank the public for their vigilance, which has allowed us to trace this man.”
