Game on in Pitlochry
East Haugh House in Pitlochry is holding its annual Game Food Weekend from 23-25 November. Their chef patron and Scotland’s Game Chef of the Year 2018 (at the Prestige Hotel Awards), Neil Mcgown, will be hosting, with dishes including a starter of potted local wild rabbit, toasted sourdough and lemon thyme butter (£7.95) and mains such as partridge breast, tempura fennel, chateau potatoes and blueberry sauce (£18.95), or pan seared mountain hare, confit leg, black pudding croquette, Romanesco cauliflower and sloe gin jus (£23.95).
