Doctor awarded £10,000 prize for cancer research
Dr Katie Robb, a researcher specialising in improving earlier diagnosis of cancer, has won the 2018 Scottish Cancer Foundation Prize, which is awarded with up to £10,000 of funding.
Dr Robb, who is based at the University of Glasgow’s Institute of Health and Wellbeing, plans to use this funding to accelerate her research.
She will receive the award today at the Scottish Cancer Conference at Surgeons’ Hall in Edinburgh.
