Indyref2 warning

Those who covered up these crimes are every bit as culpable as those who committed the abuse; the whole thing is sickening. Just like the decades-old football-related abuse, those who covered up need to be exposed.

Poor Wee Sweaties Jeremy Thorpe, Cyril Smith, the first Bloody Sunday inquiry, the inquiry into the Scottish Labour leader Richard Leonard says the turmoil of Brexit would be “nothing” compared with the uncertainty caused by a second independence referendum and a vote to leave the UK.

If a draft agreement to leave an organisation which the UK have been a member of for around 40 years requires a 585-page document, how many pages would a document to leave a 300-year old union require?

A lot of trees.

Freewheel I agree with Leonard that Brexit would be a stroll in the park compared to the total disaster of leaving the UK. Just imagine the complexities of unpicking and trying to re-negotiate a 300+ years old union. It’s just crazy.

Harp The Labour Party is in three big pieces over Brexit. 75 Labour MPS voted to stay in the EEA, the so-called single market; 15 voted to leave; the rest abstained at Mr Corbyn’s instruction in order the party could look united. Well, that worked well, didn’t it?

Nige Labour really need to show some initiative and come up with some uniquely identifiable policies; at present all they seem to offer is the same Unionist probrexit message as the Tories albeit cloaked in haze of red smoke.

L’ecossais de Narbonne

I think the racism of their core voters has really shaken them. Brexit was all about immigration in the poor swathes of England and they had no counter to that.

Cameron Macleod

“Scottish independence vote would be worse than Brexit” .... for England! He left that last bit out. Silly man.

Heather Sibbald The only reason Sturgeon hasn’t attempted to get Indy2 underway is because she can’t afford to lose it. She’s waiting for a clear increase in support (60 per cent). Thereafter, it will take care of itself.
