Church assets to transfer across to council power

Councillors are expected to approve a community asset transfer of Ellon’s vacant Ythan Centre today.

Ellon Baptist Church has applied to the Aberdeenshire Council to take on the running of the facility, which once housed the council’s community, learning and development (CLD) service. By consolidating into one building, it is anticipated the classes will see an increase in users and a boost in town centre footfall.
