Wise words

-

While singing a hymn in church my mind thought of the political situation which seems to be an endless conflict between people who should put the common good above their own ambitions. Written by Norman Macleod his words are very apposite. “Perish policy and cunning, whether winning whether losing, some will hate you. Some will love you, some will flatter, some will slight.”

These words were written in the 1800s but fit perfectly with the present narrative displayed by our childish political class.
