Blaze at derelict school closes down town
Residents in part of a Fife town have been told to keep their windows and doors shut due to a major fire at a derelict school.
The alarm was raised at 9:20pm on Monday after fire engulfed a derelict primary school in Inverkeithing. Firefighters were still tackling the fire yesterday. Several roads were closed and people living around Roods Road have been advised to take precautions to avoid smoke inhalation. High Street in Inverkeithing remains closed between Hill Street and Boreland Road. There have been no reports of injuries.
