Hibernian Coming to the Boyle

At least one Hibernian player would have been happy with the international break – Martin Boyle has made a successful start to his Australia career and hopefully he will return to Scotland full of confidence and ready to attack Scottish defences. He joined team-mates Mark Milligan (newly installed Socceroos captain) and Jamie Maclaren in the squad, and our Aussie contingent typify the quality of player demanded at Easter Road these days. Dundee will be next to face Boyle and Co on Saturday and I’m always nervous when Hibs come up against a team who seem to be due a win. But if we have aspirations of matching or bettering last season’s league place, then these are the sort of games in which we cannot afford to drop points.
