Hundreds fined for using movie street diversion
An apology has been issued to motorists after hundreds received bus line camera fines while following a diversion put in place for a Hollywood movie.
The camera linked to the bus gate at Nelson Mandela Place in the city centre was left operational after other streets were shut off for the filming of Hobbs and Shaw, starring Idris Elba and Jason Statham.
A total of 817 individuals have been issued with fines in the post after using the diversion.
Glasgow City Council has apologised for the error and said all of the £60 fines had been cancelled.
