Big difference from Sturgeon’s Accenture fiasco: “We need a new breed of police officers”, so the brochure (funny it’s disappeared off the net) said. Police Scotland is a running example of how not to fix things that weren’t broken. Instead of officers on the streets we see them sitting “preying” on motorists, easy crimes to detect and solve in their high-performance “chase cars”. How much are their average earnings with all the overtime? Was said to be £90,000 a year.

634TDJ If only it were “financial concerns”. Police Snpcotland has lost the respect of the public; earlier in the week we heard that they had been told not to divulge crime figures at an open public meeting and duly complied. How desperately sad!
