Falkirk Squad lacks depth
To come away with a point at home to Partick is a fairly good one considering our absentees. Our two main strikers, Rudden and Petravicius, were both representing their respective countries on international duty and Saturday showed there is a lack of strength and depth in the squad. The fact that after an hour, one of our attacking options was replaced by a centre-half to play in attack proves this point. Yet this result also provides more evidence that Ray Mckinnon is getting the very best out of this team. This will be one of the hardest management jobs he has had but so far he is making it look relatively easy. As long as we can keep up with our fellow strugglers, come January he can hopefully improve the squad and get us clear of relegation.
