Anita Corbin: Visible Girls Revisited
In 1981, young photographer Anita Corbin created a series of portraits of young women punks, mods, skinheads, rockabillies and new romantics – girls using their dress sense to express both their individuality and their membership of their chosen group. Thirty-six years later, she set out to trace as many of the women as possible, and photograph them again. A new exhibition at Summerhall reveals the fascinating results.
