Graveyard rabbits to be gassed

-

Rabbits are to be gassed after repeated complaints that they’re eating flowers from the graves at Bass Cemetery in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

The animals routinely chomp on flowers left by mourners and burrow under headstones, prompting fears that they could topple over.

Next week, aluminium phosphide tablets will be placed in rabbit holes, releasing a “fast-acting” poison gas.
