Man found dead after blaze in campervan
A man has died following a fire in a campervan in the Highlands.
Emergency services were called to Station Drive in Ardersier on the Moray Firth about 7:40pm on Friday. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the body of a 66-year-old man was found in the vehicle.
Police Scotland said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
Detective Inspector Eddie Ross said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this sad time.
“Our inquiries into this incident are ongoing.” A report has been submitted to the procurator-fiscal.
