SLA director Gerhard Fusenig to step down
Financial giant Standard Life Aberdeen has announced that non-executive director Gerhard Fusenig is to stand down at the end of the year.
Fusenig has been a nonexecutive director of the investment group since August 2017, having served as a non-exec of Aberdeen Asset Management since April 2016 and previously in the same capacity on the board of Aberdeen between 2009 and 2012 representing Credit Suisse – at the time a significant shareholder in the firm.
Following the change, from 1 January the board will comprise four executive directors, eight nonexecutive directors and the chairman, and will be made up of three women and ten men.
