Trio arrested as rival gangs vie in firearm scare
Three men have been arrested after two rival traveller gangs were allegedly involved in a firearms incident in East Lothian.
The men are aged 30, 25 and 17. Three cars have been recovered by officers investigating reports a firearm was discharged during a violent clash in Wallyford on Monday.
It is understood two carloads of men were involved in a high-speed pursuit on the A1. One vehicle rammed the second on the A199 near a recycling centre at Dolphingstone shortly after 1:30pm.
Two damaged vehicles were found at the scene.
