It was easy for media to say it was a poor game. Supporters around me enjoyed the contest. When either team looked like getting a shot on target, bodies lined up to block the route to goal. A telling moment about one on-field contest that enthralled fans was when Kris Boyd was substituted. Richard Foster appeared to shake his hand and then went to Jason Kerr and shook his hand. Someone speculated that this was accompanied with a “you won that battle Jason”.
