Theresa May was expected to defend her Brexit deal on a visit to Scotland yesterday, pledging to defend the interests of coastal communitie­s in the ongoing row over fishing rights.

I often ask myself why the region of England doesn’t demand their own parliament. Who knows, they might even request independen­ce! I’m sure the Scots would not stand in their way. Maybe it’s a courage thing.
