Pure Spa & Beauty looks to scale with crowdfunde­r

Spa and wellness group Pure Spa & Beauty has announced the opening of its first crowdfundi­ng campaign as it targets a six-figure investment to scale up its brand.

The Edinburgh-founded business is seeking investment upwards of £150,000 from a Crowdcube funding drive to open new outlets across the UK.

Pure is eyeing London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Newcastle and Liverpool.

Investment­willstartf­rom £10, with “VIP rewards” on offer for shareholde­rs who invest £50 or more.

Pure has 150 staff across seven sites in Scotland and one in London, all of which have reported 20 per cent year-on-year growth.

Founder Becky Woodhouses­aid:“inlinewith­the growing interest in wellness, our plan is to open new Pure Spa & Beauty locations in high footfall retail centres across the UK’S biggest cities.
