Inverness Caley Thistle Glamour? What glamour?

Apparently, playing in the Scottish Cup is glamourous. To be honest it can be, but it certainly didn’t feel very glamourous in Edinburgh last Sunday! Edinburgh City ground-share with Spartans in a very compact wee stadium in the middle of a housing estate.

However, the hospitality was second to none. No segregation and the ability to change ends at half-time! All was going well with a first-half goal from Shaun Rooney but we seemed to switch off in the second half with a rare mistake from Mark Rodgers allowing an in-form Edinburgh team back in. I can’t say I’m looking forward to the replay on a cold December night. Hopefully we can progress to the next round where East Kilbride await.
