Morton All’s well that ends well

-

From frustration to satisfaction in a matter of days. That’s pretty much the life of a Morton supporter at the minute. On Saturday, Scottish Cup action took centre stage as Morton faced League 2 side Peterhead at Cappielow. It looked likely to be a straightforward encounter but the game itself was very different.

A lucky draw against the lower league side left many Ton fans frustrated, but even more annoying would be the midweek trip to Balmoor. On this occasion though, Jonatan Johansson’s men delivered a professional performance in testing conditions to book their place in the next round of the cup. East Fife now await us in the fourth round. Win that and you best believe we’ll start dreaming of another trip to Hampden.
