Ayr United Higgins boost

Saturday saw a break in Championship action as the Honest Men took on Beith Juniors in the Scottish Cup, winning 3-0. It was good to see Chris Higgins back starting for Ayr as he has been sidelined with an injury. This was the perfect chance to give him some game time. Ross Docherty was also back in action and even scored a goal.

The draw for the next round took place on Saturday night, with Ayr facing another Ayrshire side, Auchinleck Talbot. This week it is back to league action with some Friday night football under the lights at Tannadice as we travel to Dundee United. The travel club are taking two buses to the game and fingers crossed we have something to celebrate on the road home!
