Babcock secures Canadian work

Babcock has won a £100 million aerial firefighting services contract in Canada, the first such deal the firm has struck outside of Europe.

Under the contract, the engineering services group will manage, maintain and operate Manitoba’s fleet of seven firefighting fixedwing Canadair waterbomber amphibious aircraft, supported by three Babcock Twin Commander aircraft.
