Tributes have flooded in to long-serving Evening News columnist, Leither and Hibs fanatic John Gibson, who has died aged 85.

John was a great diarist and writer, a joy to work with. Sad news but a reminder nothing is for ever. In my “Madman” days and after, John was great friend and listener.
