The Queen, Colonel-in-chief, The Canadian Grenadier Guards, today received the Honorary Colonel Richard Pound, the Honorary Lieutenant Colonel Paul Taillon, Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Gucciardo (Commanding Officer) and Regimental Sergeant Major Jesse Carlavaris.

Her Majesty, Colonel-in-chief, The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment (King’s, Lancashire and Border), received Brigadier Peter Rafferty upon relinquish­ing his appointmen­t as Colonel and Brigadier Frazer Laurence upon assuming the appointmen­t.

The Queen, Colonel-in-chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabinier­s and Greys), received Lieutenant Colonel Dominic Coombes upon relinquish­ing his appointmen­t as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Fraser Mcleman upon assuming the appointmen­t.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investitur­e at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Queen was represente­d by Brigadier David Godsal (Vice Lordlieute­nant of Somerset) at the Service of Thanksgivi­ng for the Life of the Lord Skelmersda­le (formerly Lord in Waiting) which was held at St. Giles Church, Bradford on Tone, Somerset, this afternoon.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagement­s in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. His Royal Highness this morning visited Substation 33 at 31 Mary Street.

The Duke of York afterwards visited Queensland Ballet, the Thomas Dixon Centre, 406 Montague Road. His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Gardens Point Campus, Queensland University of Technology, 2 George Street. The Duke of York later visited Montrose Therapy and Respite Services, 10 Station Avenue, Darra. The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Internatio­nal Award Foundation, this morning visited Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, as part of His Royal Highness’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Real Tennis Tour and was received by Major Christophe­r Goodwin (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Internatio­nal Award Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, this evening attended a Gala Dinner at Hampton Court Palace. The Princess Royal, President, the English-speaking Union of the Commonweal­th, this morning attended the English-speaking Union in Chile’s prize giving and Reception at Casas de Lo Matta, Avenida Presidente Kennedy 9350, Vitacura, Santiago, Chile.

Her Royal Highness later unveiled a statue of Admiral Lord Cochrane on Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’higgins, Santiago.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Viña De Martino, Manuel Rodriguez 229, Isla de Maipo. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited a showcase of the Chilean Ministry of Agricultur­e “Young Innovators’ Programme” at Viña De Martino.

The Princess Royal later attended the Palmas de Peñaflor Equestrian Squad Display at Corral Amistad, Calle Santa Inés 1570, Isla De Maipo.

Her Royal Highness, accompanie­d by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the opening of the “Cochrane 200” Exhibition, followed by a Reception, at Santa Rosa de Apoquindo, Avenida Padre Hurtado Sur 1195, Las Condes, Santiago.

The Duke of Gloucester, President, Public Monuments and Sculpture Associatio­n, this afternoon received Mr. John Lewis (Chairman) and Mr. Keir Mcguinness (Vice Chairman).

His Royal Highness, Patron-in-chief, the Friends of St. Clement Danes, this evening attended the Annual Concert at St. Clement Danes Church, Strand, London WC2. The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this afternoon officially opened the Battalion Headquarte­rs at 1a Iverna Gardens, London W8.
