German connections: Edinburgh Airport sees latest Lufthansa service touch down

-

Celebrations took place at the weekend to mark a new Lufthansa service connecting Edinburgh and the German city of Munich. The service will fly twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the winter season. It will operate using an A319 aircraft which has 28 business class seats – the only business class offering between the two cities. Gordon Dewar, chief executive of Edinburgh Airport, said: “Edinburgh’s Christmas has a flavour of Germany with its own German markets but what a fantastic opportunity to get away and experience it first-hand in Munich.”
