Peacefully, at the Western General Hospital, on November 29, 2018, aged 85, John (Gibby the Hibby) Gibson, formerly of Edinburgh Evening News, beloved partner of Linda, best friend of Willie Mcewan and a great friend to many. A Celebration of John’s life will take place at St Cuthberts Parish Church, 5 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2EP, on Thursday, December 13, at 11.30 am, to which are invited. Family flowers only, please.
