Harrison’s comeback postponed

Scott Harrison will need to wait a little while longer for his much-anticipated comeback to the ring after his opponent suffered an injury.

Harrison, pictured above, was due to fight at Glasgow Club Bellahouston this weekend in what would have been the 41-year-old boxer’s first bout since April 2013 following a spell in prison.

But Tackie Annan has withdrawn because of injury, and so promoter Lee Mcallister has put the entire show back “to the start of next year”. A specific date has still to be announced.
