Mackay-steven out of hospital

Aberdeen winger Gary Mackay-steven was yesterday discharged from hospital following his sickening head clash with Dedryck Boyata in Sunday’s Betfred Cup final defeat by Celtic. Mackay-steven was knocked out and received treatment on the ham pd en pitch for around nine minutes following the incident shortly before half-time.

He was taken to hospital suffering from concussion but returned home yesterday. He won’t play against Rangers tomorrow night.
