Celtic No time to sit still

It used to be a competition that we couldn’t win but we are now in our most successful purple patch since the late Sixties, winning four out of the last five League Cups. Rodgers called it the most satisfying of the seven trophies he has won with Celtic, which says a lot about the turmoil we have only been able to guess about.

In all competitions we are where we deserve to be. It reflects what we have done so far this season and we can’t argue with it. The players have given us their all in the last five weeks, and that some of them had tired legs and minds in the latter stages on Sunday is no surprise.

This is a hectic time and we will need to look to make full use of the wider squad over this period. We have tried and tested options. Now is not the time to sit still and reflect.
