Hibernian Lacking direction

- Stevie Sideburns

Saturday’s display at Rugby Park lacked confidence and direction, with a manager struggling to instil either. It was an alarmingly defensive team selection, and by the time Neil Lennon had rectified the situation at half-time, the game had all but slipped away. We were better after the break but 3-0 did not flatter Kilmarnock.

We have St Mirren at home this evening and Hamilton away on Saturday. The manager deserves time to sort things out, but a win tonight and a point at New Douglas Park are necessary. It’s not so long ago we visited Celtic Park knowing a win would move us top of the league, and Lennon had enough belief in his players to take the game to the champions; those same players must regain their manager’s trust.
