Take a bow

-

The boss of Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre is to quit his job just weeks after launching a multi-million pound appeal aimed at preventing the venue from having to suddenly close. Duncan Hendry has cited the demands of the job for his decision to step aside, pointing out he would be 72 if he stayed on until the planned reopening of the theatre in 2023.

Fair play to him for resigning thus giving up any rights to a pay-off and allowing that plus his salary to go towards keeping the venue alive.
