May’s bad day

-

Prime Minister Theresa May’s Government was found to be in contempt of Parliament in refusing to reveal its legal advice on Brexit Article 50.

I currently have contempt for the entire political class in this country, but in particular for those who vote to give the electorate a referendum and then decide to ignore the result given because they don’t like the outcome.

Not a lemming

They didn’t ignore the result. Over two years of trying to get Brexit despite all the statistics and advice that show it’s the worst thing we can do, most people have realised it is purely self-harm as every Brexit promise, large and small, has been shown to be lies or fantasy, and so many major issues were simply not considered prior to the vote. No, we’re heading towards rejecting Brexit because democracy allows for stupid mistakes to be corrected.

Is Parliament overturning the EU referendum vote to leave the UK by the British people to prevent a no-deal Brexit ? The EU question approved by Parliament asked the British people: Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union? Leave means to depart from permanently (go away from) the EU, that is No Deal Brexit.
