The Queen this morning visited Coram, 41 Brunswick Square, London WC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the President (Sir David Bell) and the Mayor of the London Borough of Camden (Councillor Jenny Headlam-wells).

Her Majesty toured the Campus, escorted by Dr. Carol Homden (Chief Executive), viewing the Royal Charter and artefacts, and meeting the oldest surviving pupil and the youngest beneficiar­y.

The Queen entered The Queen Elizabeth II Centre and met trustees and staff of The Queen’s Trust and children who have benefited from Coram’s services and their families.

After attending a presentati­on and performanc­e in the Sir Hans Sloane Lecture Hall Her Majesty opened The Queen Elizabeth II Centre. The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening. Her Majesty was represente­d by The Prince of Wales at the State Funeral of President George H. W. Bush which was held in Washington National Cathedral, United States of America, this morning.

By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Dr. Federico Alberto Cuello Camilo at 8 Gloucester Square, London W2, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquish­ing his appointmen­t as Ambassador from the Dominican Republic to the Court of St. James’s.

Afterwards, by command of

Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon Her Excellency Mrs. Mona Juul at 25 Belgrave Square, London SW1, in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquish­ing her appointmen­t as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Norway to the Court of St. James’s.
