Pedestrian dies after collision on country road
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on a country road.
The collision, which involved a white Renault Clio, happened on the A835, as the road passes over the river Conon, around half a mile east of the Maryburgh roundabout in the Highlands.
The driver of the Clio was not injured in the incident which happened at around 10pm on Thursday. Police are appealing for information about the collision.
