Andrew Cranston: But the dream had no sound

This is the largest exhibition to date by Hawick-born Andrew Cranston, whose work captures moments within stories, painted (appropriately enough) on the covers of old hardcovered books. Like his old friend Peter Doig, he has a knack for evoking a moment and leaving you fascinated about what the rest of the story might be.
