Railing at services

Today we see new services on the Scottish rail network, many by new electric trains offering more seating, especially at rush-hour.

However, passengers will soon desert if anything like the high number of cancellations experienced on Friday and Saturday, especially on the Borders Railway, is anything to go by. Scotrail/network Rail must address the capacity issues and provide the oft-used mantra of “Building Scotland’s best railway” .
