Driver ‘more than six times over limit’

A motorist has been charged after she was allegedly caught driving while more than six times over the legal alcohol limit.

The 51-year-old was arrested after police received a report of a car being driven erratically on the A90, in the Cramond area of Edinburgh, at about 9am yesterday.

The woman has been charged with drink driving and is set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today, police said. Inspector Roger Park, said: “Fortunately, noone was injured.”
