Drugs worth £35k seized from two properties

Police have recovered a haul of drugs following searches at two properties in Midlothian.

About £35,000 worth of Class B drugs were seized on Friday following an operation in Newtongrange.

Officers searched the properties and found about 3.5kg of amphetamine.

Various mountain bikes, component parts and two off-road motorcycles were also removed from the addresses and are now subject to further inquiry.

Officers are continuing with their investigation to identify those responsible.
