Just shares rise on PRA update

Shares in Just Group jumped after the Prudential Regulation Authority said new rules affecting equity release mortgages will not be implemented before the end of next year and will be “considerably less onerous” compared with an earlier consultation.

The FTSE 250-listed retirement specialist insurer said its new business pricing is already aligned with the expected capital requirements.
