Bathgate repair shop takes on new investors

Bathgate-based Lothian Vehicle Bodybuilde­rs (LVB) has received new investment to expand the business.

The vehicle repair company, owned by Gordon and Rosina Nisbet, aims to enhance its services offering and create additional jobs in its West Lothian facility after welcoming new investors on board.

Gordon Nisbet will retain an equal share in the company with the four incoming investors, while Rosina will assist with the transition before stepping back from the business.

All existing staff at the company will be retained.

Bill Taylor, part of the group of investors whose other ventures include JC Gillespie Engineerin­g in Kirkcaldy, and Greenfold Systems in Dunfermlin­e, said: “Gordon and Rosina have built up a well-establishe­d business over the years and we look forward to assisting LVB reach its full potential.

“We are pleased Gordon is retaining an equal share in the business and will play a key part in the developmen­t and growth of LVB.”
